Small Group Mentorship
Refugee children arriving to America benefit greatly from extra support and encouragement. This small group ministry developed to address the lack of positive activities and influences outside of school. Volunteers are assigned to a group of 2-4 children and meet weekly to provide care as big brothers and sisters. They plan field trips and organize educational activities, such as book clubs, language lessons, and games. Volunteers must complete a background check and receive trainings throughout the year. We have seen lasting impact through this ministry on the lives of the children through dedicated service and long-term commitment.
